Mamak is a very popular Malaysian restaurant. It is on Goulburn Street near Chinatown.
This is my first time of trying orthodox malaysian food. This is one of its best recommendations -- satay beef. It provides two choices including beef and chicken, served with homemade sweet and spicy peanut sauce.
The main dish I chose is Kari Kambing. This is slow-cook lamb in spicy curry sauce. The lamb is tender and the flavour of curry sauce is cooked into lamb. If you like curry and lamb, this is a very good choice for you.
I also tried Roti. Roti is traditional food as savoury in Malay. All choices of roti are served with two curry dips and spicy sambal sauce. This one is the original one. There are also other choices with new flavours for you to choose.
Feel hungry now? If you would like to try Malaysian food, Mamak is a very good restaurant to go! Not only its tasty curry sauce, but also its affordable price!
